The Little Wombat has been designed to eliminate the gizmos and gadgets we know almost always let you down on regular barbecues. To overcome these obstacles we focused on simplicity with the absolute minimum of glitz and glamor. What we ended up with is a BBQ built like a compact commercial kitchen. There are some parts which perform multiple tasks and some parts that are completely removable when you don’t need them. Everything can be packed up inside the firebox for stowage . The fire box also has a hidden feature – it’s lined with a 1 inch thick insulation material that’s typically found in a kiln, so the heat stays focused and upward, not radiating out the sides where you don’t need it. This feature assists with efficient use of fuel and delivery of heat to the cooking surface.
